Oh loves. This recipe.
It’s decadent. It’s indulgent. It’s the perfect treat to make for a birthday, a celebration, a time when you want to extend out of the ordinary and into a truly luscious, out of this world dessert.
This version is of course gluten-free, refined sugar-free and dairy-free.
And you’re going to love it.
Ingredients
- 1 c organic vegan butter, like Miyokos, melted
- 1.5 cups ground gluten-free graham crackers (I simply took the grahams and smashed them with my potato masher until they were all crumbled up :))
- 1/2 c organic coconut sugar
- 1.5 c organic sunflower seed butter, unsweetened
- 1 1/4 c Hu chocolate chunks
Step 1: Melt chocolate chunks over medium low heat until fully melted.
Step 2: Mix together melted butter, graham crackers, coconut sugar and sunflower seed butter in a separate bowl.
Step 3: Pour graham cracker mixture into a 8×8 glass pan and press it firmly and evenly into the pan.
Step 4: Pour melted chocolate over the sunflower butter mixture, spread it evenly to cover the mixture.
Step 5: Place 8×8 pan in fridge for 1-3 hours.
Step 6: Remove from fridge, cut into squares, bless and enjoy!
Please note: These bars need to be refrigerated or they melt, so enjoy and then put any leftovers back in the fridge! 🙂
