Gluten-free Chai Spice Cookies

Having recently celebrated 7 years alcohol-free, I’m giving new meaning to the word party.

Back in the day party meant hella alcohol, a dark, badly lit bar or restaurant and overeating and drinking.

(which leads to all forms of dis-ease, bad decision making and really wrecked skin. #justsayin)

These days I have a whole new framework for what it means to party.

More like tea party.

I mean with SMALL, CRUSTLESS SANDWICHES, organic herbal teas and cookies like these Chai Spice ones – what’s not to love?

Get your party on with these light, delish and organic protein filled chai spice cookies! Inspired by PURIUM CHAI PROTEIN AND THEIR RECIPES.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of Miyokos Vegan Butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup of organic coconut brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon organic coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoon of organic almond milk
  • 2 cups Bob’s Red Mill Paleo Flour
  • 1 teaspoon organic Arrowroot powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 7 tablespoons of Purium Chai  Protein 

Step one: Preheat oven to 350.

Step two: Mix melted butter, sugars, vanilla extract and milk.

Step three: Add in dry ingredients – flour, powders and Chai protein.

Step four: Mix well until it forms into a sticky dough blend. Then using a cookie scoop, form into small balls and place on a cookie sheet, 1-inch apart on parchment paper.

Step five: Bake for 11 minutes.

Step six: Sprinkle with some remaining Chai protein powder for an added flare. 🙂 Then, bless these yummy cookies, and enjoy your tea party! <3
