Part of letting go of gluten from your life is giving up bagels. It just comes with the territory.
I eliminated gluten from my diet 19 years ago, and ate nothing but salads with balsamic vinaigrette for the first 10 years (you couldn’t force me to eat that again now ;)).
So, of course times have changed (hallelujah!) and now there’s even grain-free bagels.
Say whhaaa?? Yes, they’re called Pagels and they’re DIVINE.

Ingredients:
- 1 cinnamon raisin Pagel bagel
- 2 TB Ground Up PDX nut butter – almond cashew coconut flavor (no sugar)
- 1 organic banana sliced
- Organic cinnamon to taste
Step one: Toast your Pagel (I recommend toasting the entire bagel first and then slicing it afterwards. Then if you need to with the 2 slices, do a light toast – like 1-2 on the toaster. And then, move to step 2.).
Step two: Slather your now sliced Pagel with nut butter.
Step three: Top with sliced banana and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Voila! You now have a totally grain-free bagel. Isn’t life good?!
