Chai Spice Laddus

If you want a sweet treat that also includes protein and is calcium-rich, these Chai Spice Laddus’ are for you!

This has become one of my staples, they can easily be taken with you for snacks when you’re on the go, to a dinner party if you need a sweet treat that’s also organic, gf, df or to the movie theater when you want a healthy goodie.

These keep in the fridge for a week or more, but honestly they’re so delish they most likely won’t last that long. πŸ™‚

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c organic sesame seeds
  • 2/3 c organic creamy sunflower seed butter (important that the butter is creamy, if it’s not, place in blender or food processor with some organic coconut oil to smooth it out)
  • 2.5T raw, local honey
  • 1T Chai Protein from Purium
  • 1t organic vanilla extract

Step one: Mix all ingredients together.

Step two: Using a cookie scooper, scoop balls into a glass container.

Step three: Cover container with laddus’ and refrigerate for 3-6 hours and then eat.

Makes 11 laddus. (Unless you eat all of the dough before it gets to the fridge. Speaking from experience here. ;))
