Matcha. Matcha. Matcha.
I hear people talking about this “miracle” superfood a lot.
But whenever I’ve tried a “matcha” latte (dairy-free of course), I’ve just about gagged.
Praise The Divine – there’s now a Way to enjoy the power of Matcha in a yummy protein bliss ball, organically and loaded with other yummy superfoods.
You ready?
This super easy recipe yields about 12 bliss balls.
Ingredients:
- 1 c organic rolled oats
- 1/4 c organic unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 T Hemp hearts or chia seeds, organic
- 2 T Matcha Protein powder, and extra for rolling purposes
- 1/4 c organic sunflower seed butter
- 1/4 c organic peanut butter
- 2 T organic almond milk
- 3 T Joolie’s organic date syrup (or organic maple syrup)
Step one: Mix all ingredients together until it forms a sticky dough.
Step two: Refrigerate for 30 minutes minimum.
Step three: Roll into balls with additional Matcha powder (I would make a ball, dip in matcha powder and then roll around so the whole ball was coated in it).
Step four: Bless, eat and enjoy! You can keep these in your fridge for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
