Vegan Pesto

Vegan pesto

As soon as the smell of basil hit me from the bunch in our CSA share, I knew I had to make pesto.

And so, below is an easy vegan pesto recipe that you can use as a topping for pizzas, pastas, veggie bowls, eggs and toast and so much more.

For me, pesto is like hummus – I put it on everything and dip everything into it. 🙂 Enjoy!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 organic avocado
  • 3T organic pine nuts
  • 2T organic olive oil
  • 1T nutritional yeast
  • 1.5 t organic garlic salt
  • 1 bunch of organic basil, finely chopped
  • Juice of one organic lemon

Step one: Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender (I just used my little ninja :)), and blend.

Step two: Blend until well mixed and then add organic olive oil to get the consistency of pesto that you prefer.

Step three: Bless your pesto by placing your right hand over top of it, visualizing golden radiant Source Light flooding into the pesto and asking that Divine health and peace and prosperity flows to all who eat it. And so it is. It is so.

Step four: Enjoy your pesto on pizza, pasta, veggie bowls, toast (seriously) or in any other way you’re called to.
