Dates and Oranges
If you’re on the go, or just craving something easy to eat that’s sweet and nourishing, this is one of my go-to snacks.

Why?

It supports your body’s natural ability to detox AND it’s super yummy with tons of food-as-medicine benefits.

The astringent quality of the orange supports a healthy detox / lymph system and dates are a source of iron, antioxidants and other health prospering benefits (I also call them nature’s candy).

Ingredients:

  • One organic orange, sliced
  • 3 Medjool dates, pitted

I like to have this out so that I can nibble on it throughout the day or when I need a quick and easy snack.
